“Big Red” was created in the summer of 2022, shortly after Jason’s return to Chicago. It’s in the same vein as his previous piece called “Life,” though he’s introduced the color red, hence it’s title. The original was done in ink and brush pens on hot press illustration board. It measures 28” x 40” with a 2” white border included, quite large for an ink drawing. This limited edition of 100 is printed on archival paper in matte finish and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
